I have an appointment with a photographer in a few days., never used him before, my hair and makeup will be done at a salon.
He recommends light make up that we can add enhancements in photoshop later.
Anytime I’ve done photos before it was lots and strategically placed for lighting. And the pics turned out great. What do you think?

I can always tell when someone has photoshopped makeup in to head shots, and I think it looks so unnatural. I would rather look like myself and do my daily makeup, but amped up to take in to consideration how studio lights can wash you out (assuming you are shooting indoors).

OK, got it. Go for a professional but friendly/approachable look. I agree with @lakeshow about photoshopping...a small tweek is one thing but a whole different person is another. Slightly heavier make-up but natural. What fun and good luck...keep us posted!

The headshot turned out really nice!
Make-up was applied kind of heavy which was good because photographer used a lot of lights.
False eyelashes were applied in addition to mascara - my first experience with these. Excellent look.
I am really pleased, thank you all for your help.
