Excellent quality leather shoe brands?

Hi,

I'm not interested in luxury shoes as I have germ phobia and don't like my luxury goods to touch the floor so I usually try to find good leather companies. After many fails I thought Hush Puppies and Ecco lived up to what I am looking for in quality leather shoes.

Are there any other brands that have similiar or better quality leather that are around ~$300 per pair?

There are lots and lots of German, Austrian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese brands to choose from at that price point. Also, contemporary brands like See by Chloe, By Far, etc. can go on sale and you can find them for around $300. It really depends on what kind of style of shoe you like.
